I am challenged by the emotional charge that emanates from the beginning of this beautiful adventure. It radiates hope, aspiration and even inspiration. The purpose of this adventure is not to repeat the debates, initiatives, experiences shared and tried during several conjunctures and by different generations, but to participate in the majestic effort undertaken for twenty years by King Mohammed VI which consists in “perpetuating” this Moroccan specificity so rare in the land of Islam of coexistence between Muslims, Jews and Christians.

The realization of this dream that I have been refining for a long time, by the creation of a blog on the theme “Living together”, a theme full of spirituality, memory and sharing is vital and essential in a world where we have been observing for some time, increasingly disturbing drifts that threaten to destroy everything that our ancestors have built up to this point, everything that we are legitimately proud of. We have the impression to be installed in a world where the individuals have difficulty to listen to each other, to confront each other, to exchange, to live together, in a world in loss of reference.

Living together or knowing how to live together is a dynamic concept, in perpetual movement. Knowing how to live together, in a society, is not only about social peace, peaceful coexistence, living together side by side, face to face without touching or hitting each other. Knowing how to live together is alive, lively and fertile, it is the bearer of a spirit of sharing, of love, of respect and acceptance of norms, laws and differences that exist between people. The knowledge of how to live is, in the end, a national matter where we must all behave as citizens in solidarity. These words of Cheick Hamidou in l’aventure ambiguë (Grand prix littéraire d’Afrique noire in 1962) find here all their depth and their relevance: “We did not have the same past you and us, but we will have the same future, rigorously. The era of singular destinies is over.
